Orthodontic treatment is necessary to correct malocclusions in children, adolescents and adults.

As an alternative to classic braces, Invisalign® has been available for several years. The method originated in the USA. For adults, there was previously no corresponding possibility of correcting malpositioned teeth apart from invasive tooth straightening. Invisalign® provided a remedy.

It is a custom-made, transparent plastic splint (aligner) that can effectively correct misaligned teeth. Invisalign treatment is an advanced transparent aligner system and the result of more than two decades of innovation.  Unlike traditional fixed braces, transparent aligners are removable and virtually invisible. There are no wires or brackets. So you can brush and floss your teeth as usual. You can also continue to eat your favorite foods.

  • Invisalign® clear aligners are some of the most popular aligners on the market and are used to correct misaligned teeth.

  • With the help of this treatment method, many simple misalignments can be corrected.

  • Invisalign® braces have many advantages compared to other braces.

  • Depending on the complexity of the deformity, adult treatment can take between 6 and 12 months.

  • SAFE TREATMENT thanks to over 20 years of experience and clinically proven success.

HOW THE INVISALIGN ALIGNER WORKS

For the production of the removable plastic splints, no classic, unpleasant impressions of the teeth are made using impression material. The initial situation of the teeth is recorded by a scanning process. A digital 3D scan of the teeth or jaw is created with the help of a 3D scanner (iTero scanner).

Based on this digital recording of the initial situation, the course of treatment is then digitally modeled. This digital procedure enables a clear before-and-after simulation, with which the patient can view his future, straight teeth before the actual treatment.

This digital scan is then sent directly to Invisalign®. The individual splints are custom-made for the patient using 3D printing.

The individual Invisalign® clear splints are 3D printed. Each splint is made individually for the patient's teeth and involves a certain amount of tooth movement. Because of this integrated tooth movement, the teeth are gradually moved into the desired position with each new splint. Depending on the treatment plan, the splints are changed on average once a week

CONSULATION & DIAGNOSIS

We check whether you are suitable for treatment with Invisalign. Because almost all positions of the teeth cann be treated with Invisalign virtually invisible splints.

In addition to a general diagnosis, we scan your entire bite. This includes your teeth and your jaw joint, which we look at with the help of an X-ray and subject it to a functional analysis.

CREATION OF A TREATMENT PLAN

In a 3D before and after simulation, we show you what results you can expect from the treatment according to the simulation. It shows how the teeth are currently standing and how they will be when you have finished with all the splints.

How long does the Invisalign treatment take?

The length of treatment depends on several factors, such as the complexity of your case and how often you wear your aligners. Your Invisalign practitioner will determine the exact length of treatment based on your individual needs. On average, Invisalign treatment lasts 12 to 18 months. However, you can start seeing results after just a few weeks.
