Aligner technology
The invisible braces

How aligners work
Modern aligners are virtually invisible, removable, and precisely tailored to your teeth. Using AI-assisted 3D scans, we create a digital model of your teeth – you'll see the planned result even before treatment begins. The transparent aligners are changed every one to two weeks and gently and precisely move your teeth into the desired position. Aligners are suitable for many orthodontic corrections – from mild crowding to more complex misalignments. In a personal consultation, we'll determine if aligners are the right solution for you.
Procedure
Consultation and diagnosis
We check whether you are suitable for treatment with Invisalign. This is because almost all tooth positions can be treated with the virtually invisible aligners from Invisalign. In addition to a general diagnosis, we scan your entire bite with the iTERO scanner. This includes your teeth and jaw joint, which we examine using an X-ray image and subject to a functional analysis.
Creating a treatment plan
In an AI-based 3D before-and-after simulation, we show you what results you can expect from the treatment according to the simulation. It shows how your teeth are currently positioned and how they will be positioned at the end of the treatment when you have finished wearing all the aligners.
Receiving the aligners
If the conditions are met after the initial consultation, your treatment can begin immediately. The path to your new smile begins with the first fitting of your aligners.
This is an important step for your success. We make sure that your aligners fit well, answer your questions, and explain what you can expect.
Further progress
Regular appointments with us
You will have check-ups approximately every 6-8 weeks so that your progress can be monitored and you can receive your next set of aligners.
Daily routine
Your Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible and can be easily removed. This means you can eat and brush your teeth as normal.
How long does Invisalign take?
The duration of treatment depends on several factors, such as the complexity of your case and how often you wear your aligners. Your Invisalign provider will determine the exact duration of treatment based on your individual needs. On average, Invisalign treatment takes 12 to 18 months. However, you can see the first results after just a few weeks. In addition, patient cooperation also plays an important role.
Since Invisalign® and Angel Aligner® are removable treatment methods, the patient's willingness to wear the braces consistently is crucial to the success of the treatment. Poor patient cooperation can prolong the duration of treatment—in the worst case, the teeth may not be straightened. As part of Invisalign® treatment, the aligners must be worn between 20 and 22 hours a day.
